About Augmented Calligraphy
Using an IoT-enabled smart brush, the Augmented Calligraphy prototype captures real-time data such as pressure, motion, and orientation while AR smart glasses overlay stroke paths directly onto the user’s view of the paper. Users receive instant feedback on their technique and adjust their actions in real time. By combining physical interaction with digital augmentation, the system enhances learning efficiency, reduces cognitive guesswork, and creates a more intuitive and responsive practice experience.
